Paving begins June 27 on County Road 120

Posted on 07/04/2016

Beginning Monday, June 27, road crews from Four Corners Materials will be paving one mile of County Road 120, from the 2500 block to the 3200 block. This project is one of the conditions of approval for the land use permit for GCC Energy's King II Coal Mine located on County Road 120.

The paving project is expected to take six working days, with crews on the roadway between 7 a.m-7 p.m. During the project, traffic may be reduced to one lane while work is in progress.  Drivers can anticipate up to 15 minute delays during construction, however, every attempt will be made to minimize traffic delays.  Motorists are encouraged to allow a little extra travel time and to drive with caution through the work zone for their own safety and the safety of the work crews.
