Training Outline


First Segment: Planning Department Web Services 

10 minutes Objectives: Learn to navigate the information on the planning webpage. Learn about the services provided through the meetings webpage including meeting records, boards, and commissions.  Instructor: Jasmyn Fouts, Planning Technician. 

Second Segment: Encode and District Plans

10 minutes
Objectives: Learn to navigate the code webpage. Discuss the District Plans and how to use them. 
Instructor: Dan Murphy, Planner II. 

Third Segment: Assessor Information and EagleWeb

15 minutes
Objectives: Learn to navigate the EagleWeb data base and discuss the correlation between property assessment and planning land use designations.  
Instructor: Mark Reddy, Appraiser

Fourth Segment: County GIS Mapping Services

20-30 minutes
Objectives: Learn to use the county GIS mapping system and its various tools. 
Instructor: Robby Overfield, Planner II.
